RC car toys are very popular, but they’ve managed to somehow stay under most people’s radars, which is a shame, because they are a lot of fun. RC stands for radio controlled, which means that the cars are controlled by means of a controller connected wirelessly to the car itself.

If you really become an RC enthusiast, there are various RC racing leagues around, where you can put your car up against others in races. This is a cool sport, in that you get to have the thrill of racing and driving fast with no risk of personal injury.

The cars are also very customizable, so you can make the cars do more or less whatever you like. In fact, a lot of the cars you’ll find in RC racing leagues are completely custom built, unique designs. There are tons of hobby stores, both brick and mortar and on the internet, where you can buy parts to build a car that is one hundred percent your design.

This is actually a good thing, although you might not want to tell your kids, because you have an opportunity for some stealth education. Designing and building an RC car is a great way to be able to spend time with your children, and it can be a great way to teach practical skills at the same time.

In general, RC car toys are a cool alternative to video games and other indoor activities, and there are plenty of resources available to help you get into the sport professionally, or just to have fun.
